When are Mcgill's vacations?

If I'm not wrong, the long vacations start at 30 July and end on 1 Sept. (or something around that) but dont you have another break during the winter and such?

The long break over the summer lasts from the end of April until the end of August. If you take a summer course then that would take place during May and as such your vacation would extend from the end of May until August. You do get a break around Christmas-time that lasts for around two weeks depending on when your finals end in December. Also, you get a week off in late February for "Reading Week."

The spring semester ends around the end of April.Fall semester starts in September. There is about 2 weeks off around Christmas.
