I want to move from montreal to toronto. what/how to do?

So i want to move by end of may or june. What do i need to do?? i know i need to change my bank branch but that's all i know. Do moving companies travel accross provinces? I allready have a place set up in toronto

You'll also need to change your drivers license, healthcare as well as bank account, and normal utilities.

Don't forget to cancel your phone, cable, electricity and water supply companies!



You might want your mail redirected/forwarded to your new address in Toronto so don't forget to notify your local Post Office.



As far as I know, most moving companies do travel across provinces and countries so don't worry about that!

yes the large moving companies move locally or around the world just don't get two guys and a truck. Depending on where you live you should stop your utilities, hydro, cable, phone and you will have to start them up again in TO. Also go to Canada Post and get a change of address form so your mail will be redirected to your new address (if you want it)

in case you're a lot in funds worry, why do you desire to stay in cities the place ererything is so high priced? you will get effective activity everwhere else in Quebec and decrease your funds a lot.
